Holiday Inn Dover, An Ihg Hotel, Dover

I had a bit of a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with everything I required, but I was given inconsistent information by the staff initially, which made me more assertive in my approach. The air conditioning was a plus, but having 2 double beds that weren't suitable for our needs was a downside.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were large and very clean, but they need some updating with new carpets and a fresh coat of paint. The staff wasn't initially helpful, which led to some frustration on my part. However, there were instances of courteous service from staff members like Eliza. The location was convenient for our needs, but there were some disappointing aspects, especially regarding fire safety concerns. The dining experience wasn't the best, a bit pricey for the offering. The hotel had safe off-street parking and well-tended surroundings.

The hotel provided a very comfortable and clean stay; however, there was a fan noise that was a bit disruptive. The staff, particularly the Romanian team, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, but there were instances where service fell short. The location was ideal for ferry travelers, though the layout for parking was a bit awkward. In terms of dining, the meals were satisfactory, but there were some hiccups in service. Overall, a mixed experience with highs and lows.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The room was spacious and had excellent facilities. It was really quiet and away from the noise, which was great. However, the cleanliness could have been better. The fridge in the room was a good benefit.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel with great rooms and service, but the dining experience left a bit to be desired. The location was perfect for my needs, and the facilities were excellent.
